Bardock, the father of Goku, not only gave birth to one of the strongest Saiyan warriors that ever lived, but he also deserves all the credit for sending Goku to Earth minutes before Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. Bardock's gone on to become one of the most popular Saiyan warriors in the series, not only appearing in countless videogames but also going on to have two specials detailing his exploits before and after Planet Vegeta's destruction. While fans will always celebrate Saiyans like Gohan, Vegeta, and Goku for their contributions in defending Earth, several other Saiyans have played an important role in Dragon Ball's story as well.
